Every pricing project is customized to the client’s specific needs and goals.
Typically, I will analyze several years of ticket sales data with an eye toward making recommendations for an upcoming season in the following areas:
Pricing, including singles and subscriptions
Seat maps
Price charts across different performances
Discounts and dynamic pricing
To kick off the project, I’ll meet with one or more people from your organization to learn more about the current situation, your goals, and current pricing strategy. Based on that conversation, I’ll request the necessary ticket sales data and other material such as current ticket prices, seat maps, etc.
I generally try to leave you all alone after that as I analyze the data, though may be in touch with a few follow up questions. At the end of the project, I can present the findings in a meeting to your team and/or send a report via email. A final report will then be delivered incorporating any desire changes.
Pricing projects typically take 2-4 weeks from the delivery of ticket sales data with costs generally ranging from $1,500-$3,000.
